Babs Reingold's installation The Last Tree has another showing at the Burchfield Penney Art Center in Buffalo, NY. I composed the soundtrack for the video component. The show will be up until February.
The multi sound and video installation Tomorrow, Today Will Be Yesterday by Rui Almeida will be part of the Light Moves festival in Limerick, Ireland. The installation randomly pairs sound pieces from numerous composers with video clips. With the images presented randomly, the suggestion is to explore the way that sounds shape visuals and vice-versa.

Radiophrenia is a temporary art radio station – a two-week exploration into current trends in sound and transmission arts.
There are a few more days to catch a showing of Peggy Guggenheim Art Addict, a really interesting documentary film. I'm biased because I wrote some music for it, but if you have any interest in the art world and artists, it is a fascinating portrait of a famous woman collector and an amazing time in history.
This sound art program will now be presented as an installation in Guimarães, Portugal.

The final version of this documentary film about art collector Peggy Guggenheim has been released in the US. It is a fascinating portrait of this unique woman and the era. I provided some additional music and had a blast working with the team on developing it. You can view the trailer and find screening information at their website.
Vox Novus and Arts Brookfield presented 60x60 Dance at Brookfield Place on October 23rd. Sixty one minute compositions were paired with 60 one minute dances. My short piece using only a short wave radio was paired with a dance by J.A.M. I was out of town for the performance but there is a good review of the event HERE. The scores for White Shred and Black Shred will be exhibited as part of the AFTERSOUND: FREQUENCY, ATTACK, RETURN exhibition at Carnegie Melon University curated by Melissa Ragona and Margaret Cox. This exhibition explores sound’s infiltration into contemporary discussions of aural and visual culture, with a particular focus on sound visualization, the physics of sound, political uses of sound, i.e. sonic warfare and DIY, as well as the resurgence of neo-metaphysical experiments with sound as a portal to new sensory experiences.
I am exicted to announce the release of a documentary film with some compositions by yours truly. It's premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival on Monday April 20th. BLACK SHRED will be part of an sound installation at this year’s Festival Musica Viva at the Lisbon Architecture Trienal – Sinel de Cordes Palace as part of the Miso Music Festival. The installation is entitled "Close, Closer".
The Red Cross/Red Crescent Climate Centre and CEIArtE (Centro de Experimentacion e Investigacion en Artes de Electronicas) selected sound art miniatures to become part of some of their actions, such as: “participative workshops, educational videos and collaborative learning games developed to improve the understanding and prevention of disasters”.
