Shroud

A shroud obscures my vision
It is mist, cloud, a wisp floating by It is veil to protect me from the light
A shroud is mystery
It envelopes with folds upon folds
and gives me pause to wonder what lies beneath
A shroud is discovery
I strip away layer after layer to reveal the truth within
